UMN Collaborates with ATT Group on a Recruitment Program

TANGERANG – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) and PT Segara Artha Investama of PT Anugerah Tangkas Transportindo (ATT Group) established a cooperation for internship and full-time recruitment programs for students and alumni. This activity was facilitated by UMN’s Career Development Center (CDC) on the UMN campus on Thursday (2/2/2023).

UMN, as an educational institution, always tries to collaborate and cooperate with industry to provide job opportunities for students. The opportunities provided aim to equip students with direct work experience. In addition, it also provides opportunities for students to get job opportunities.

“In addition to hard skills, we also instil soft skills in students by instilling character building, sharing knowledge about personal branding, or other things needed for students to enter the world of work,” said UMN Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Ika Yanuarti, S.E., M.S.F, CSA.

With the internship experience, UMN students are expected to have the ability to be ready to face the world of work after graduation, as well as be able to have the opportunity to work directly in the company where they previously did their internship.

Ika explained that in addition to the recruitment program, this collaboration can be carried out in the form of a research program for companies together with students and lecturers of UMN’s Management study program. Because PT ATT Group is engaged in logistics, this research cooperation is possible.

PT Segara Artha Investama is one of the companies of PT ATT Group, which has around 23 business units and is engaged in logistics. PT ATT Group is building a logistics curriculum and an independent campus internship program so that this recruitment program can run between UMN and PT Segara Artha Investama in the future.

“We chose UMN because it has many divisions, faculties, and others that ATT Group needs. So that we can synergize and walk together,” said Head of Partnership & Learning Design Curriculum PT Anugerah Tangkas Transportindo Evita Purnamasari Paskalia.

Evita hopes that PT ATT Group can fulfill the needs of talent or human resources from UMN. And can work well together between Sahabat UMN and Sahabat ATT.
