Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) offers financial support that may be awarded based on need, academic merit, economic background, and specific talents. Sources include the governments (Pusat Layanan Pembiayaan Pendidikan, Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia) and corporate scholarships.

Government Scholarships

The Ministry of Education and Culture has provided several programs, namely affirmation scholarships (ADik Papua and Papua Barat), Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) Kuliah scholarships, UKT/SPP scholarships, Unggulan scholarships, Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik (PPA) scholarships. They include partial scholarships, bursaries, and fully-funded scholarships for our students.

Based on Law No. 12/2012 on Higher Education, the government of Indonesia is obliged to increase access and opportunities to study in higher education and prepare intelligent and competitive Indonesians. The Higher Education Affirmation Scholarship hereinafter referred to as the ADik Scholarship, is an affirmative education policy intervention in the form of government Assistance to provide learning opportunities for students due to their conditions and existence. The ADik scholarship assistance scheme consists of ADik scholarships for students from Papua and West Papua. UMN has accepted 9 students, and they were given full scholarships for four years.

The government of Indonesia issued KIP Kuliah as a form of educational assistance given to the high school, vocational or equivalent graduates of underprivileged families to continue their education to college or academy. Until now, our campus has received 6 (six) students on full scholarships for four years.

Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) for higher education continues the support based on partisanship with others incapable and just. This all at once helped the financial condition and opened up the opportunity of education given to the high school and vocational high school graduates or the equivalent of a less fortunate family to get continuing education to the tertiary level. The 14 awardees were given tuition fee scholarships for one semester.

The scholarship is intended to improve the quality of Indonesia’s human resources by providing educational and training assistance through both degree and non-degree channels. It also supports the government’s efforts to reduce the gap in educational performance between community groups, provides greater opportunities for the poor and/or living in disadvantaged areas. The two honorees were given tuition fees, living costs, and book allowance for four years.

To implement the 1945 Constitution and law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education, the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education through the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs will provide this scholarship. This program is focusing on both curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities as well as achievement in other aspects. 185 students were selected and received a living allowance for two semesters.

Corporate Scholarships

Companies and corporations are focusing on developing the nation’s intellectual life through the education, training, and development of future generations. They have been generous to support our students and it helps in empowering their academic and career goals by removing the financial barrier.

Yayasan Salim focuses on supporting students from disadvantaged economic backgrounds to continue their studies in university. During years of partnership, a total 15 students received living allowance scholarship for two semesters.

Mobilepulsa is a startup company in the field of mobile application and progressively building great products to help people in payment, with the widest selections and deliver it through excellent service and support. This company has been committed to providing scholarship assistance to 4 students within two semesters.

Yayasan A&A Rachmat in collaboration with Adaro Foundation through PT Adaro Indonesia continues to support undergraduate students with outstanding achievements who come from low-income families in Indonesia. Since 2015, a total of 146 UMN students have been awarded living allowance for two semesters.

Lakuemas is a leading gold Omni channel platform that offers buy, sell, withdraw, transfer, and exchange gold to jewelry within smartphones. Lakuemas is keen to introduce this platform through the Campus Ambassador Program. Our 3 students were granted this scholarship for one semester.

The scholarship is designed to improve student competencies within the BRILian curriculum and prepare them for being future leaders through the BRILian Future Leader Program (BFLP). 40 honorees were given a living allowance for one semester.

Tokopedia targeted students from informatics backgrounds and are also excel in both academic and non-academic throughout their studies. 3 students were selected and received a living allowance and tuition fee for two semesters.

BukaBeasiswa is one of Bukalapak’s BukaPotensi program. Created as forms of support and manifestation of Bukalapak’s active role in developing university students as Indonesia’s prospective engineers in the field of Information and Technology. Through this program, Bukalapak empowers our students to recognize their capabilities and continuously create a positive impact on Indonesian society. 1 honoree was given tuition fees for two semesters.

PT Indonesia Teijin Dupont Films (ITDF) through the Teijin Foundation always provides scholarships in the field of education for outstanding students in Indonesia. These scholarships have helped 6 students to complete their final research projects.

Online Scholarship Competition (OSC) is the first online scholarship competition in Indonesia, organized by the news & video site Medcom.id. OSC is here to make it easier for Indonesian children to continue their education up to S1 using scholarships available at each of their favorite universities.

OSC is a collaborative program between Medcom.id and private universities as scholarship providers. With OSC, participants no longer need to come to the campus / university to register and take the test in person.

OSC shortens the process by using the Online method, registration and initial tests are carried out through the online system. OSC has now entered its 6th year, collaborating with 18 well-known private universities in Indonesia, from 8 different cities (Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Malang, Surabaya and Makassar) and providing hundreds of undergraduate scholarships and dozens of postgraduate scholarships. which can be contested by every SMA / SMK / MA student or equivalent and students or those of you who are under 25 years of age for Masters Scholarships in Indonesia.

OSC is expected to be able to support higher education that facilitates high-achieving children from various circles throughout Indonesia. Because to get to superior human resources, advanced Indonesia, education is needed that is evenly distributed to all Indonesian sons / daughters

The Metrodata scholarship program is a commitment from the Metrodata Group to support ICT education in Indonesia. Two honored students have been selected to receive tuition fee scholarships for two semesters.
