UMN DQLab Holds AI Competition & AI Online Webinar

The rapid digital transformation in 2023 has put Artificial Intelligence (AI) quite in the spotlight. The reason is that the presence of artificial intelligence is enough to help many parties from various professional lines that make work more effective & efficient. As we know, by optimizing the use of AI, the accuracy in decision-making can be improved. It can minimize errors where AI can create innovations & solutions for technological progress.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also said that currently, the world is competing in mastering artificial intelligence or AI technology. In fact, he called it the age of AI war, which Jokowi expressed in giving a briefing at the opening of the National Working Meeting on Strengthening the BPPT Technology Innovation Ecosystem at the State Palace, Jakarta.

To make the available AI ChatGPT feature even more helpful in the learning process, DQLab is now holding the DQLab AI Competition as a platform for participants to develop creativity and innovation in the world of AI. In this competition, participants are free to provide input and the latest innovations related to the AI ChatGPT feature available in DQLab with the aim of maximizing the practical & innovative learning process.

The criteria for participants who can take part in the DQLab AI Competition include:

• Category 1 Participants: Students & Fresh Graduates who are expected to provide creative ideas for AI development on the DQLab learning platform.
• Category 2 Participants: Professionals who can provide creative ideas for the application of AI to help work in the field of Data Science.
• Category 3 Participants: Best Engagement Publication with the results of creative ideas that have been published. This category is calculated based on the number of Shares, Likes & Comments on the participant’s Linkedin post (Participants from categories 1 & 2 can win this 3rd category).

From each candidate category, the winners of the DQLab AI Competition also have the opportunity to get other rewards. Here is the list of rewards for category 1, 2 & 3 winners:
