UMN Provides Scholarships and Debriefing to Puteri Indonesia 2023 Finalists

TANGERANG – On May 17, 2023, UMN became one of the sponsors of the Puteri Indonesia 2023 event by providing material briefings and Master’s scholarships to all Finalists of Puteri Indonesia 2023. 

UMN collaborated with the Puteri Indonesia Foundation to provide scholarships for the Puteri Indonesia winners in the Puteri Persahabatan category and Runner Up 3 Puteri Indonesia 2023. This scholarship is a form of appreciation from Multimedia Nusantara University for the achievements of Indonesia’s best daughters, who have made Indonesia proud both at the national and international levels. 

On this occasion, besides giving scholarships as prizes to the selected princesses, UMN also had the opportunity to debrief 45 Puteri Indonesia finalists from 38 provinces. This debriefing aims to provide positive insight to the finalists before advancing to the final round by providing helpful knowledge later to all finalists and committees involved. 

This year, which is the first time UMN has provided debriefing for 45 finalists of the Puteri Indonesia election, UMN presented the theme of the debriefing material, “Building Personal Branding in Social Media,” which was presented by one of UMN’s Communication Science lecturers, Vega Karina Andira Putri, S.Sos, M.Si.

“I think this is important for them because after holding the title of Puteri Indonesia Finalist, there will be more and more audiences who want to know more about them, which is certainly through social media,” Vega said.

In this debriefing session, Vega provided insight into social media management in building personal branding for each Puteris. You can see the enthusiasm of the Puteris and the committee during the debriefing. The debriefing session became very interactive, with a question and answer session between Vega and the Puteri Indonesia Finalists.

Vega, a beauty pageant lover, also expressed her happiness when sharing her knowledge with the Puteri Indonesia Finalists, “As a beauty pageant lover and observer, I am used to watching them through social media. Finally, being able to share together in this debriefing, it feels great to get to know them directly.”

In addition to the debriefing, UMN also had the opportunity to make a presentation introducing UMN and UMN’s Master’s Program. UMN also provided special scholarships to 45 Puteri Indonesia finalists if they wanted to continue their Master’s education at UMN. 

UMN hopes to continue this collaboration at the Puteri Indonesia event next year. In addition,  we hope that the Puteri Persahabatan Winner and Runner Up 3 Puteri Indonesia 2023 will continue their education at the Multimedia Nusantara University Master Program in 2023 or 2024!
