List of UMN’s Accredited “A” Study Programs

UMN has various study programs that are accredited “A.” (Doc. UMN)

For those who don’t know, not only the Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) campus is accredited “A,” but various UMN Study Programs have also received “A” accreditation. The following is a list of UMN Study Programs with “A” accreditation given by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), which, of course, is still valid.

Why is Accreditation Important?

Accreditation is an affirmation that a university provides the quality of education that the general public has the right to expect and is recognized by the educational community.

Generally, the accreditation that a university can get is assessed and granted by accreditation agencies, such as BAN-PT, which have been created specifically to review educational institutions and programs. A campus can have both national and international accreditation.

The main purpose of accreditation is to help post-secondary institutions to identify and achieve goals to protect society and to establish and maintain high standards of education and ethical business practices for accredited campuses.

Of course, students and parents will be more confident in choosing an accredited campus, let alone an “A” accredited campus like UMN.

About Multimedia Nusantara University

Under the auspices of Kompas Gramedia Group (KG Group), UMN was officially established in 2006 after obtaining a license to operate from the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia in 2005.
