TANGERANG – The Alumni Family of Multimedia Nusantara University (KAMI UMN) held an iftar with UMN’s building management team as a form of appreciation for the daily dedication of the securities, cleaning service officers, mechanical engineers, gardeners, and hospitality staff who worked tirelessly to ensure the readiness, cleanliness, and safety of the campus environment. The event was also attended by UMN 2008-2020 alums and was held at the UMN Canteen on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and KAMI UMN advisor Ika Yanuarti explained that this iftar event was held to bring the alums closer to their alma mater and as a form of gratitude and thanks for God’s provision and His blessings so far.
“Hopefully, with this iftar event, we can get closer and establish a relationship between UMN and KAMI UMN with the building management team,” Ika said.
In addition to breaking the fast together, there was also a door prize distribution event for the building management team participants in the form of household appliances and furniture.
“This event is also a form of gratitude to the fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters (building management team) who have been with us at UMN,” Ika explained.

Fakhriy Dinansyah, a UMN alumnus and lecturer at the UMN Faculty of Communication, delivered a speech. According to him, since 2009, the UMN Building Management, led by Sudarman (Darman), has maintained its hospitality to everyone.
“Mr. Darman always gives directions to his team to maintain friendliness and always reminds them that UMN is a university that prioritizes hospitality or service and friendliness,” Fakhriy said.
Fakhriy hopes this event can motivate everyone to be more enthusiastic about working and providing for the family.
