The Inspirational Story of Alleco’s Founding Partner, The Woman Who Founded The Law Firm To Help Indonesian MSMEs Succeed

TANGERANG – Innovative Indonesian women helped empower various industries in Indonesia, including the legal industry. Litani Rahma Sari, also called Lita, is a womenpreneur and a housewife who has had an impressive career in the legal industry for ten years. 

The Beginning of Establishing Alleco

Being a womenpreneur with a family requires Lita to manage her time between her family life and work life. Because of that, Lita focused on building Alleco than working an office job due to its flexibility. 

Lita has a lot of experience in the legal industry. With her experiences, Lita established Alleco, a law firm that provides commercial, corporate, and litigation services. Alleco provides services that can help start-up companies create agreements or contracts. This is an essential step at the beginning of starting a business to prevent making wrong decisions.

Lita’s Role in Alleco

Apart from being a corporate partner, Lita is also responsible for the finance and management at Alleco. Lita experienced several difficulties as she did not have the basic skills needed in both fields.

“Although it was a bit difficult, I learned a lot. The managerial experience I got while working in the office was beneficial for me. In addition, I involved a third party to manage it for finance, but the core is still with the Alleco team,” Lita shared.

Lita also added that Alleco still relies on ‘Word of Mouth’ from their clients when it comes to marketing. When one client is satisfied with Alleco’s services, they will recommend it to their relatives. This also helped Alleco to screen clients that match their criteria. “Business is about trust,” Lita said.

Impressions When Growing Alleco

For the three years of running Alleco, Lita experienced a lot of joy and sorrow. Alleco was established in 2019, just a year before the COVID-19 pandemic struck in early 2020. Lita had to experience the troubles of running Alleco while dealing with the pandemic. Many clients had to cut their expenses due to the downturn in the economy, including legal requirements.

However, this did not make Lita give up. Instead, she took the opportunity in the crisis. Lita learned many things from other aspects such as finance, marketing plans, and company trends that are on the rise.

“The thing that impressed me the most is seeing how successful my clients are after they use the advice we provide. There is a sense of satisfaction in that itself, and I felt more mature in the professional field,” Lita said.

Women in Career

In her career, Lita felt egalitarian enough as a woman to take on a role in the legal field. According to Lita, many women are still not aware that they are a leader. For example, many women can think of various things at once, which is one of the characteristics of a leader.

“Every woman is a leader for herself and her family,” Lita added.

In addition, Lita also gave a message for women out there to dare to become entrepreneurs and leaders. “Don’t be afraid to try new things. Start building a business that does not violate the law and provide benefits to many people,” Lita said.

In the future, Lita, together with Alleco, wants to help more companies and people with their legal problems and needs.
