Tangerang, (15/06/2026) – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) has received a visit from the University of Technology and Entrepreneurship (UTE), Cambodia. This visit served as a moment for both institutions to strengthen their existing partnership while exploring various new collaboration opportunities in the fields of education, research, academic exchange, and internationalization programs.
UTE is a Cambodian university that has partnered with UMN and has been strategically involved in various UMN internationalization programs. During this visit, UMN had the opportunity to expand collaboration with UTE.
“UMN is our first university partner. We are certainly pleased that the relationship between our two institutions has been going well and that we have already run various programs together. UMN has given our students the opportunity to participate in student exchanges, which has become valuable preparation for UTE students’ learning experiences,” H.E. MEURN Srey Net, Chairwoman and Chancellor of UTE, said
For Srey, the collaboration between UMN and UTE can be expanded beyond student exchanges alone. Considering that the focus of UMN and UTE is not much different, namely, providing quality education while continuously expanding international partnerships.
“We are open to various future collaboration opportunities, which are expected to involve not only students but also faculty members, as well as the various faculties at UMN. We hope this collaboration can continue and open up various new opportunities,” she added.
UMN’s Rector, Dr. Andrey Andoko, responded positively to the collaboration established between UMN and UTE. For Andrey, this collaboration is not just about expanding the university network but also about providing various experiences and cultural exchange between nations.
“In addition to academic student exchanges, we are also open to various programs for students, one of which is in the field of entrepreneurship. In line with our vision, we continue to encourage students to present sustainable solutions to everyday life problems. For me, this is one of the programs that can be collaborated on together,” Andrey explained.
Andrey hopes that the collaboration between UMN and UTE can be sustained and that, through this partnership, it will generate new innovations and support existing internationalization programs. Furthermore, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization, Prof. Dr. Friska Natalia, S.Kom., M.T., also detailed various strategic programs that can be implemented together.
“UTE has greatly supported UMN’s internationalization programs, one of which is by involving their students to join student exchanges and student mobility. Through this support, we feel there are many things that can be collaborated on in the future,” Friska explained.
Friska elaborated in detail on various strategic programs that can be implemented between UMN and UTE, including faculty exchange, joint research, community outreach, visiting professors, and the continued student exchange program. Friska hopes that the collaboration between UMN and UTE can continue and be sustained in the future.
