Google AI Learning Center coming soon to UMN Campus (Doc. UMN)

Tangerang – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) together with Google presents the AI Learning Center as a space for learning and exploration of artificial intelligence technology. This collaboration is a strategic step for UMN in providing learning that is relevant to global technological developments.

The Google AI Learning Center is divided into three areas: the Training Zone for training and workshop activities accommodating up to 30 participants, the Research Zone for AI research and processing, and the Focus Zone for activities requiring large-scale analysis and high privacy, such as machine learning training, Vertex AI-based research, and Google Colab Enterprise.

The Google AI Learning Center also supports the use of AI across various fields of study and can be utilized by the four faculties at UMN. The Faculty of Engineering and Informatics can use it for machine learning research and AI application development; the Faculty of Arts and Design for Generative AI experimentation and creative design; the Faculty of Communication Sciences for data-driven journalism and sentiment analysis; and the Faculty of Business for business intelligence and market analysis.

Furthermore, the Google AI Learning Center is designed to support various programs, such as AI-Ready Campus, AI training for students, lecturers, and education staff, training for teachers through community service programs, public training and certification, as well as seminars and guest lectures with experts from Google and industry. Through the Google AI Learning Center, UMN encourages the use of AI technology as part of learning, research, collaboration, and skills development relevant to future needs.
