Tangerang, (13/05/2026) – UMN’s Career Development Center (CDC) organized the Career and Scholarship Expo 2026 over two days at the UMN Campus. The event was attended by over 50 national and multinational companies. Additionally, the event was attended by 12 educational institutions offering scholarships to UMN students who wish to pursue further studies abroad.
As a commitment to preparing students for future careers, UMN continues to expand collaborations and offer programs with national and multinational companies and international universities. The Career and Scholarship Expo 2026 serves as tangible proof of UMN’s strong relationships with various corporate partners. This effort also aligns with UMN’s employability rate, which exceeds 90%, indicating that UMN graduates are ready to enter the professional world.
“This event is a valuable opportunity for UMN. Considering the current less favorable economic conditions, yet many companies are still opening opportunities for students and graduates to intern or work. This is certainly an extraordinary situation, seeing that many companies continue to grow and need new talents to contribute and create in the professional world,” Dr. Andrey Andoko, UMN Rector, said.
In addition to economic issues, Andrey also emphasized the rapidly changing world, including the emergence of new technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). For Andrey, AI is rapidly changing various professions and human competencies.
“These changes are what drive us to carry the big theme of ‘Future-Ready Graduates.’ Preparing graduates who are ready for the future—we know that knowledge will continue to change and may become obsolete over time. However, we will continue to emphasize to students and graduates that they must remain adaptive, innovative, and become lifelong learners,” he added.
Andrey hopes this event will open opportunities for UMN students and graduates to advance their careers across fields. Moreover, Andrey hopes this event will strengthen the relationship between UMN and its industry partners.

Held over two days, the UMN Career & Scholarship Expo 2026 was attended by students from various semesters and faculties, as well as UMN alumni. Through this event, students and alumni not only gained information about participating companies but also interacted directly with them.
“We are opening various opportunities, both full-time positions and internships, that students can apply for, and they are available for various study programs at UMN. Through this opportunity, it is hoped that many UMN students will be interested in pursuing their careers or internships at Wings Group Indonesia,” Christin Silviani, Talent Acquisition Specialist at Wings Group Indonesia, said.
Christin added that, in seeking fresh graduate candidates from UMN, the company considers communication and interpersonal skills among the important aspects. Additionally, students’ experience in organizations is also a plus, as it demonstrates how their soft skills have been honed, such as leadership, decision-making, and the ability to express opinions, regardless of their educational background.
