Tangerang, (30/04/2026) – UMN’s Hospitality program has inaugurated a recruitment collaboration with Rosewood Hotel, Hong Kong. This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding between UMN and Rosewood, attended by the Rector of UMN and the recruitment team from Rosewood Hotel, Hong Kong. This partnership opens career opportunities, including full-time positions and international internships, for UMN students and alumni.
Rosewood is a prestigious hotel chain established in 1979. The Rosewood Hotel & Resort network spans the Americas, Europe, East Asia, and the Asia-Pacific region. This time, UMN has the opportunity to formalize a collaboration with Rosewood Hotel, Hong Kong.
“I am delighted to inaugurate this collaboration with UMN Hospitality. At a glance, I have seen how UMN Hospitality emphasizes the importance of hospitality in its learning approach. This aligns with our values, which focus not only on providing memorable experiences but also on delivering excellent service to guests. I am confident that through this collaboration, UMN students will be able to contribute and implement these values at Rosewood, Hong Kong,” Yvonne Wai, Complex Director of Talent Development at Rosewood Hong Kong, said.
Yvonne hopes that through this collaboration, the relationship between Rosewood Hong Kong and UMN will grow even stronger, and that more UMN students will be involved in future recruitment. Yvonne is also open to various academic programs offered at UMN. Continuing the discussion, the Rector of UMN, Dr. Andrey Andoko, was also present at the inauguration of the collaboration with Rosewood Hong Kong.
“I feel proud that UMN has inaugurated this collaboration with Rosewood Hong Kong. This is a valuable opportunity for the future careers of UMN students, especially within an international company. Furthermore, considering that Rosewood Hong Kong is also one of the most renowned hotels, I hope this collaboration will provide a globally minded learning experience,” Andrey said.
Andrey also hopes that the collaboration with Rosewood Hong Kong can be further expanded to engage with various existing UMN programs, including internships, full-time positions, career days, curriculum matching, guest lectures by industry professionals, and other collaborative initiatives in the future. Andrey hopes that through this collaboration, UMN students will become more globally distributed.
