PPAr UMN Open Studio: A Complete Exploration of the Journey to Becoming a Professional Architect

Tangerang, (31/07/2026) – As a concrete step by UMN in preparing students’ careers, UMN continues to strive to expand partnerships with various industries. This time, the Career Development Center (CDC) UMN, which facilitates the career development of students and alums, had the opportunity to formalize a collaboration with VIVERE Group. VIVERE Group is a company engaged in the interior and furnishing sector in Indonesia. Established in 1948, VIVERE Group has developed various brands such as Idemu, Carta, Vinoti, Casaka, and several others. Previously, CDC UMN had also conducted an industrial visit to VIVERE Group as an effort to strengthen relations with the industrial world while opening up broader collaboration opportunities for UMN students and graduates.
“In our company, UMN students and graduates are known to have good competencies. With the trust we have in UMN students, this collaboration is a concrete step to prepare young talents who are ready to face the world of work. For us, this collaboration is important because students are the future as well as the backbone of the company,” Yuliana Halim, Human Resources Division Head of VIVERE Group, said.
Yuliana also emphasized that internship or full-time work experience is not merely about building students’ careers, but also introducing them to work culture, challenges, and the dynamics of the industrial world from an early age.
“I hope this collaboration can run well, and we are open to various other programs that UMN has. Of course, I also hope that more UMN students will be interested in joining to learn or continue their careers at Vivere Group, considering that currently 50% of internship students come from UMN,” she explained.
Responding to the collaboration between UMN and VIVERE Group, Dr. Ika Yanuarti, S.E., M.S.F., CSA., as Vice Rector for Student Affairs, also expressed her pride and appreciation for the trust that has been given to UMN.
“I am delighted that our students have the opportunity to work at partner companies. This is proof that students’ competencies not only develop within the campus environment but are also able to meet the needs of the working world. I hope the collaboration between UMN and VIVERE Group does not stop at internship and full-time programs, but can also be involved in various other programs,” Ika said.
Ika also opened up various collaboration opportunities that can be carried out together, ranging from career days, campus hiring, sharing sessions with industry practitioners, to curriculum matching between the world of education and company needs. Through this collaboration, Ika hopes that UMN can continue to improve the employability rate of its graduates while strengthening the synergy between universities and the industrial world.
