
What Is a Digital Carbon Footprint? Its Impact and How Students Can Reduce It

Tangerang, (30/09/2026) – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) continues to expand its international collaboration with National Formosa University, Taiwan. This collaboration is expected to open various academic programs and development opportunities for UMN students and lecturers.
National Formosa University is a university located in Yunlin, Taiwan, with various study programs in technology, engineering, management, and other fields. The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU), which serves as a basis for both institutions to develop various programs together.
“It is a pleasure to collaborate with UMN. We see many opportunities for programs that can involve all four faculties at UMN, not only for undergraduate and master’s students but also for UMN lecturers in the future”, said Prof. Lin, Yen-Kun, Director of International Student Affairs at National Formosa University.
Lin explained that the collaboration may include student exchange, scholarships, research, and conferences. This collaboration is expected to provide wider educational opportunities for students, as well as the valuable experiences that can benefit both institutions.
“This collaboration is part of UMN’s commitment to continue expanding its international network and opportunities for the academic community. We are open to various programs that can be carried out together, and this will also be a good opportunity to involve UMN students and lecturers in various programs at National Formosa University”, stated Dr. Andrey Andoko, Rector of UMN.
Andrey hopes that the collaboration will lead to various programs that benefit both institutions, especially in academic development, research, and international experiences for students and lecturers.
The discussion was also attended by representatives from each faculty, who discussed various program initiatives that could be carried out together based on their respective fields.
