The election process, conducted annually through PEMIRA (Pemilihan Raya Mahasiswa), is designed to be fair, transparent, and inclusive:
- Candidate Selection: Qualified candidates for leadership positions across DKBM, BEM, and HIMA are selected based on clear criteria.
- Campaigning: Candidates share their visions and programs with the student body via multiple channels, including social media (Instagram), to ensure accessibility and visibility.
- Debates & Public Forums: Public debates and discussion forums allow students to engage with candidates, ask questions, and evaluate their ideas.
- Quiet Week & Voting: Students are given a reflection period before casting their votes in an organized election held annually (September–October 2025).
- Leadership Training: Newly elected leaders receive structured training to prepare them for their governance responsibilities.
