Tangerang—On Wednesday (September 10, 2025), Multimedia Nusantara University welcomed a delegation from Pradita University. The visit, which was attended by the Architecture Study Program, UMN Research and Innovation Division, and UMN LPPM, aimed to open up opportunities for collaboration between UMN and Pradita University.
As one of its strategies in supporting the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), UMN continues to collaborate with various universities in various fields. This time, UMN had the opportunity to collaborate with Pradita University.
“The UMN architecture study program focuses on sustainability and ICT, so we emphasize sustainability in learning. We also direct students to use digital interaction design. Considering current technological developments, we also allow students to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to remain relevant,” Hedista Rani Pranata, S.Ars., M.Ars., Head of the UMN architecture study program, said.
Hedista also hopes to collaborate with Pradita University on various matters. The collaboration initiated includes research, collaboration with the architecture program, and various other programs.
“UMN has four faculties, each with its own research focus, which makes collaboration possible. UMN itself also often conducts joint research with various national and international universities,” Nabila Husna Shabrina, S.T., M.T., Manager of the UMN Research and Innovation Department, said.
Nabila welcomes Pradita University to participate in various research projects and research focuses at UMN. Nabila hopes that this collaboration in the field of research can strengthen the partnership between UMN and Pradita University, as well as increase the number of research projects in the future.
“LPPM UMN has various programs and also assists villages. We are not alone but also collaborate with various parties. Similar to our research, we also collaborate with various national and international universities, so there are many programs that can be developed together,” Andy Firmansyah, Community Engagement & Government Relations Manager at UMN, said
Andy hopes that through this discussion, UMN and Pradita University can collaborate and further strengthen their collaboration, especially in community service. In the future, it is hoped that various collaborative initiatives can be carried out together.
“This is a great opportunity to collaborate with UMN. Our current focus in the architecture study program is on technological innovation and property. For me, this can be aligned and strengthened in the field of technology, so that it can be even more collaborative,” Imaniar Sofia Asharhani, S.Ars., M.T., Head of the Architecture Study Program at Pradita University, said.
Imaniar also stated that many things can be explored with UMN in the future, and of course, the focus can be on research and design. Imaniar hopes that this collaboration will produce a lot of new, valuable knowledge for UMN and Pradita University.
“We are very enthusiastic about collaborating with UMN. We hope this collaboration will enrich innovation and research and support the architecture study program in the future. Regarding the topic of joint research, it can certainly be adjusted according to each study program,” Dr. Aulina Adamy, S.T., MSc., IPM., Head of the LPPM Unit at Pradita University, added.
