Tangerang, (January 21, 2026) – The UMN Career Development Center recently conducted an industry visit to Grand Indonesia. This visit was aimed at expanding UMN’s industry partnerships with companies operating in Indonesia and broadening the scope of industries for student careers.
Grand Indonesia is one of Jakarta’s malls, established in 2007, with a vision to be “The Shopping Landmark of Indonesia.” Grand Indonesia hosts a variety of well-known brands and food outlets. In addition to being a shopping destination, Grand Indonesia also has various other business units, including the BCA Tower, Kempinski Private Residence, and Kempinski Hotel Indonesia.
“We want to expand the scope of industry collaboration, considering that Grand Indonesia has considerable opportunities. I think this is a very good opportunity for UMN, and I hope that Grand Indonesia will also be open to various programs at the UMN CDC,” said Elfira F. Wahyono, M.Si, Manager of the UMN Career Development Center.
Elfira herself opened up various collaboration opportunities for students, including career days and campus hiring, internships, full-time recruitment, and job postings. Elfira is confident that this collaboration will attract many UMN students.
“I am delighted to be able to collaborate with UMN. This is certainly a good opportunity for us to provide good career opportunities for students. Grand Indonesia is open to all four faculties at UMN, and we prioritize full-time positions,” explained Calvina Veronica, HR Manager at Grand Indonesia.
Calvina also expressed her interest in participating in career days because Grand Indonesia is quite active in job fairs. It is hoped that Grand Indonesia’s involvement in UMN’s career day will encourage students to apply for its management trainee program.
“I hope the collaboration between UMN and Grand Indonesia can be established well, so that in the future, many UMN graduates will be interested in continuing their careers at Grand Indonesia, considering that Grand Indonesia has a wide business scope,” she added.
