Tangerang, Wednesday (10/22/25) – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) visited the Skyworx Indonesia office. The UMN Career Development Center (CDC) attended the event, which aimed to present various collaboration programs that Skyworx could participate in.
Skyworx Indonesia (PT Skyworx Indonesia) is an IT company focusing on industrial financial systems, such as marketing analytics, collection analytics, and AI-powered credit scoring. They develop products and services such as financial management systems, loan-origination systems (LOS), cloud hosting, and specialized platforms for financial institutions. Headquartered in Jakarta and established in 2006, Skyworx has served various clients from financial institutions.
Furthermore, Rusdi Lay, Chief Operating Officer (COO), said that Skyworx has become a national-scale company.
“As a national company, Skyworx has been operating in various regions of Indonesia, such as Padang and Semarang. Not just one, but in each of these regions, we have several branches,” said Rusdi.
According to Elfira F. Wahyono, M.Si, Manager of the UMN Career Development Center, the visit was a valuable opportunity for UMN to expand its cooperation with the industrial world.
“This visit is a very good opportunity for UMN. It is hoped that after this, promising collaboration opportunities will be created in the future. This is also an effort to increase the employability of students,” said Elfira.
Elfira explained that the forms of cooperation that can be carried out with Skywork include career days, campus hiring, and career building. According to her, this step is a form of UMN’s commitment to adapting to the increasing digitalization in the industrial world.
Rusdi welcomed the collaboration opportunity. He mentioned that his party is currently opening internship opportunities for UMN students. In addition, several UMN students and alums have already joined Skyworx.
“Internship opportunities are certainly open. We happen to have many hiring needs and we are already familiar with UMN. Previously, there have been interns from UMN who joined us. Also, there are already three people who have become permanent employees, one of whom has even taken on a managerial position. Furthermore, regarding career day, we are eagerly awaiting the draft cooperation agreement and proposal,” said Rusdi.
Closing the discussion, Rusdi also mentioned the career-building program. According to him, speakers for the program can be recommended from the Informatics, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering study programs to align with Skyworx’s focus.
