To ensure the health and safety of students and staff, UMN provides access to primary healthcare services through an on-campus clinic and formal partnerships with external hospitals.
On-Campus Clinic Services
UMN provides a campus clinic (medic) staffed by a nurse on duty during operational hours, to ensure immediate assistance and primary care services.
The clinic offers:
- Basic medical consultations and first aid treatment
- Health assessments and minor medical procedures
- Initial diagnosis and referral services
- Medical certificates and basic prescriptions
- Health education and preventive care guidance
The presence of a nurse on campus ensures prompt response to minor injuries, sudden illness, and emergency situations before further referral is arranged if necessary. The clinic operates during working hours and is accessible to all students, lecturers, and staff.

Hospital Partnerships
UMN has established agreements (MoU/MoA) with selected hospitals to ensure:
- Priority treatment and emergency handling
- Specialist referrals
- Advanced medical examinations
- Inpatient and outpatient services
- Laboratory and diagnostic services
Through this collaboration, students and staff can receive prompt and comprehensive medical treatment when required.
Ambulance Services
To support emergency response, UMN ensures access to ambulance services through:
- Direct coordination with partner hospitals
- Emergency hotline services available on campus
- Rapid referral and transportation system for urgent medical cases

(Doc. UMN)
In emergency situations, the campus clinic coordinates immediate response and arranges ambulance transport to the nearest partner hospital. This system ensures quick medical intervention and minimizes health risks.
Supporting Health and Wellbeing Through Sports Facilities
UMN actively promotes physical health and wellbeing by providing accessible and well-maintained sports facilities that encourage regular physical activity.
Available facilities include:
- Badminton court (Lapangan Badminton)
- Futsal court
- Basketball court
- Gym

These facilities are available for students and staff to use for recreational activities and regular sports programs. UMN supports physical wellbeing through:
- Encouraging participation in sports clubs and student activity units
- Organizing inter-faculty and university-level sports competitions
- Providing safe, clean, and accessible sports infrastructure
- Promoting balanced lifestyles through health campaigns and physical activity programs

(Gym at UMN)
In line with its commitment to promoting active lifestyles beyond the campus, UMN makes its sports facilities accessible to the public, including local residents and community groups, through a structured rental system. By providing affordable and well-maintained facilities, UMN contributes to community wellbeing, encourages physical activity across different age groups, and strengthens engagement between the university and the surrounding community.
By integrating accessible healthcare services with quality sports facilities, UMN cultivates a healthy campus environment that supports both preventive and responsive healthcare, thereby enhancing the overall physical wellbeing of its academic community.
