
UMN Students Sweep Awards at Two National Technology Competitions APTIKOM 2025

Tangerang, (13/10/2025) – 16 students from Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) have just advanced to the preliminary round of the International Business Case Competition (IBCC) 2025. These five teams will advance to the semifinal round on Wednesday (29/10/2025). The IBCC 2025 is a collaborative effort organized by UMN in partnership with Southern Luzon State University in the Philippines and Tra Vinh University in Vietnam.
The International Business Case Competition (IBCC) 2025 is an event organized by UMN students in collaboration with two universities in the Philippines and Vietnam. In addition to realizing international cooperation, this competition aims to continue to hone students’ skills in line with current global developments.
“Of course, I am proud of all the students who participated in this competition. This international competition is organized by three countries: Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. IBCC is not just a competition but also a way for you to collaborate and build relationships in the future,” Dr. Ika Yanuarti, S.E., M.S.F, CSA., Vice Rector for Student Affairs, said.
Ika also explained that IBCC 2025 is the first competition of its kind, and she expressed her pride that UMN has been given the opportunity to host the IBCC grand final in November. For Ika, this event is a positive step toward strengthening relations between universities and countries.
“IBCC has various aspects of focus, not only business competition but also Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability, especially in the aspects of People, Planet, Profit in business. It is hoped that it can produce results that impact the economy and society,” Ika concluded.
The 5 student teams that passed the preliminary round and will advance to the IBCC 2025 semifinals are as follows:
