UMN’s achievement in QS World Ranking (Doc. UMN)
Tangerang, (05/11/2025) – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara has once again achieved QS University World Ranking. In this time UMN earned recognition as one of the Top 500 universities in Asia and Top 100 in Southeast Asia. This accomplishment proves UMN commitment and consistency in giving high-quality education that meets global standards. The awarding ceremony for the QS World University Rankings was attended by Prof. Dr. Friska Natalia, S.Kom., M.T., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization, during the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific in Korea.
QS University World Ranking is a global ranking system for higher education institutions. This aligns with UMN’s vision to become a world-class university with global education standards. This achievement is a source of pride for UMN to maintain and improve its current ranking.
“We’re very proud that UMN keeps maintaining these rankings in QS University World Ranking, UMN still in the Top 500 in Asia and Top 100 in Southeast Asia. We will obviously work hard to push this ranking even higher by offering quality education, strengthening our research output, and expanding UMN’s networking. In expect UMN will continue to achieve other global rankings, so we could enhance our global reputation and recognition along with other international universities”, said Prof. Dr. Friska Natalia, S.Kom., M.T., as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization.
Friska also explained UMN’s further plan which will be focusing more on expanding collaboration with more international universities. UMN is set to explore more partnerships across ASEAN and Asia, and is currently focusing on strengthening collaborations in Europe. According to Friska, strong networking is crucial to unlocking greater collaborative opportunities moving forward.
“We will keep initiating more collaboration in the future with other universities, these collaboration will be focusing in student exchange, lecture exchange, research in between lecture with UMN’s partner, and we will explore more potential collaboration that not just expand UMN networking but also giving out meaningful contributions in the academic community,” Friska added.
