Tangerang—On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara officially launched its collaboration with ShineWing Education Learning. This partnership aims to provide professional sustainability certification for faculty members and students. Additionally, this certification will serve as a foundation for students and faculty members to compete in the industry.
Since its inception, sustainability has been a key focus at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara and has been instilled as a core value among its academic community. Sustainability at UMN is not merely about environmental friendliness but also emphasizes sustainability in human resources. In this regard, UMN has officially partnered with ShineWing Education Learning to support learning and the future of the academic community at UMN.
“This certification is something I have been eagerly awaiting; it is a pleasure that UMN has become the main partner in organizing sustainable certification. This certification is not merely about learning; we aim to make sustainability a core value for students and faculty,” Prof. Dr. Florentina Kurniasari T., S.Sos., M.B.A., Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Sustainability, said.
Sari hopes that the certification or modules provided will support and enhance the capabilities of UMN’s academic community. Additionally, Sari hopes this collaboration can prepare students for industry readiness, as this is one of the industry’s key needs.
“This collaboration is excellent, and we are also open to other collaborations. If UMN requires guest lectures on sustainability, we are fully open to it, as well as other collaborations such as research,” Febryanti Simon, SE., MBA., CPA., Managing Director of ShineWing Education Learning, said.
This collaboration will begin in July 2025, initially open to faculty members. Eventually, the certification program will be available to all academic programs at UMN and can be participated in by UMN students.
