
UMN Conducts an Industry Visit to Burson Indonesia

Tangerang—On Tuesday (07/22/2025), the Career Development Center and Sustainability Center of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) conducted an industry visit to PT Odoo Software Indonesia. This visit aimed to strengthen the relationship between UMN and its industry partners. Additionally, during this visit, UMN had the opportunity to discuss various collaborations that could be undertaken together.
PT Odoo Software Indonesia is one of the multinational companies operating in the business software sector. The company originated in Belgium and currently has 8,000 partners and over 15 million users globally. The vision of PT Odoo Software Indonesia is to assist companies in developing their businesses.
“We have already officially collaborated with PT Odoo Software Indonesia and participated in UMN’s Career Day. Of course, the collaboration doesn’t stop there; we aim to continue providing updates and innovations to UMN’s industry partners. We see many opportunities for collaboration, and we hope to introduce PT Odoo Software Indonesia to the faculties at UMN,” Elfira F. Wahyono, M.Si, Manager of the Career Development Center at UMN, said.
Elfira also initiated and is open to other collaborations, such as campus hiring for UMN students, guest lectures, and sustainability programs. For Elfira, collaboration with industry is crucial for UMN, enabling the university to prepare students for the industrial world.
“At PT Odoo Software Indonesia, we have an education program that can be offered to the academic programs at UMN, and this is available for both undergraduate and graduate students. This program is free because we are focused on helping students and the younger generation prepare for digital transformation. This education program is not only for engineering programs but can also be followed by other academic programs,” Diandra Pratita, Education Partnership Manager at PT Odoo Software Indonesia, said.
Diandra hopes that UMN students and faculty can participate in the education program from PT Odoo Software Indonesia. Diandra is interested in partnering with UMN and is open to other collaborations, such as guest lectures tailored to the needs of UMN’s academic programs.
“I hope we can collaborate effectively and support students’ careers, as PT Odoo Software Indonesia has thousands of partners and users. Through this collaboration, we aim to expand the networking opportunities for students and faculty members,” Diandra concluded.
