Jakarta – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) recently visited one of the world’s leading accounting firms, Moore Global, on Tuesday (July 29, 2025). The visit aimed to strengthen ties between UMN and the industry and initiate potential collaborations.
Moore Global is one of the world’s largest accounting and consulting firms. Founded in 1907 in London, England, it now operates in 110 countries and provides various financial services. This time, UMN had the opportunity to visit and discuss recruitment collaboration.
“We are pleased to visit and provide updates about UMN to Moore Global, given that UMN has a Business Faculty. However, we are also open to collaborating with other faculties at UMN, which presents a good opportunity for the career development of UMN students,” Elfira F. Wahyono, M.Si, Manager of the UMN Career Development Center, said.
Elfira initiated various recruitment collaborations that can be carried out with Moore Global, including campus hiring for UMN students, career days, guest lectures with Moore Global, and other collaborations. Elfira hopes this collaboration can continue and mutually benefit UMN and Moore Global.
“We are very pleased to collaborate with UMN, as we have previously worked with and accepted UMN students for internships at Moore Global. My hope is that this collaboration can continue, and that UMN students’ journey doesn’t stop at internships but can lead to full-time positions at Moore Global,” Benedictus Wibowo, Audit Manager at Moore Global, said.
For Benedictus, collaborating with UMN in recruitment is highly satisfying, not only in terms of results but also in terms of UMN students’ performance. Benedictus is open to participating in various recruitment activities that can be conducted with UMN. Benedictus hopes this collaboration can grow stronger and initiate multiple programs in the future.
“For me, collaborating with UMN is the right step. Through this, we can shape students’ careers and prepare them for the workforce. We can teach them many skills, starting from the most basic soft skills like good interpersonal communication to hard skills like data processing,” Benedictus concluded.
