UMN developed two advanced online learning methods (e-learning) which are virtually synchronous and asynchronous. In the synchronous method, lecturers and students can run the course online via video conference despite being at various different places. Whereas the asynchronous method, students can access lecture materials and quizzes in the form of interactive videos and attain lecture assignments through a web page elearning.umn.ac.id. Furthermore, students can ask their lecturers inquiries directly regarding any subject through their personal chat and discussion forums that are already built-in on UMN’s e-learning website. Considering this, e-learning makes it easy for students to be able to study anywhere and anytime.
