Theodorus Cahyo Wicaksono started his academic career as a lecturer and researcher in 2021 at UMN. He was the best graduate (Bachelor’s Degree) in Architecture from Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta in 2016 and earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Universitas Indonesia in 2021.
Before working in academia, he pursued a career as a practitioner in the field of engineering. He has worked at PT Astra International Tbk as an associate who develops company policies in Environment, Health, Safety, and Corporate Social Responsibility with a scientific approach in the field of architecture. After that, he also worked as Section Head Architect of the Construction Drawing Department at the architectural consulting studio and PT Summarecon Agung Tbk.
Now, he belongs to the architectural and urban design expertise group. He explores neuroarchitecture, as well as neurourbanism, by looking at the dialogue of connections between constructed environments and their users, improving the comperhension of various messages that the environment transmits, including those on less concious levels of perception.
