Asep Sutresna earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universitas Padjadjaran in 1987 and subsequently worked at a community development organization. In 1992, he received a scholarship to pursue a Master of Arts in Communication Management. He then applied the knowledge and experience he gained by working in the communications industry, particularly in advertising, for over 15 years at various international and local advertising agencies. After transitioning into academia, he began conducting research and publishing works on social marketing, advertising, and issues related to marketing communication.
