CIC 2025 Ready to Present Global Academic Collaboration in a Hybrid Format

Malacca, Malaysia (9/10/2025) – The CIC 2025 Joint Conference international conference will be held on October 14–17, 2025, at Multimedia University (MMU) in Malacca, Malaysia, featuring cross-border academic collaboration through a hybrid format (on-site and online). This event is organized by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) together with Multimedia University (MMU) as the host, and combines three leading conferences: the 8th CONMEDIA, the 4th ICON-SONICS, and the 5th COMNEWS.

CIC 2025 promotes inclusivity by providing two participation formats: live presentations (on-site) at the MMU Malacca Campus and online presentations through an interactive digital platform. This step adapts to the increasingly dynamic and sustainable global academic needs.

The conference will feature seven international keynote speakers from various renowned institutions in Southeast Asia, including:

– Ir. Andrey Andoko, M.Sc., Ph.D. – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, Indonesia

– Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud – Multimedia University, Malaysia

– Prof. Edson C. Tandoc Jr. – Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

– Prof. Dr. Mardeni bin Roslee, FASc – Multimedia University, Malaysia

– Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chee Yen (Bruce Leow) – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

– Prof. Lai Weng Kin – Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management & Technology, Malaysia

– Dr. Bernard Lim – IEEE Malaysia & Appscard Group AS

They will discuss the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital communications, and the application of smart technologies for sustainable development. CIC 2025 is also an essential platform for internationally indexed scientific publications. The three conferences in this year’s CIC series will collaborate with global publishing partners, namely:

All accepted papers have completed the camera-ready submission stage on October 1, 2025, and are ready to be presented at the main event on October 14-17, 2025.
