Tangerang, (January 27, 2026) – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) has officially launched a recruitment collaboration with PT Bank Jago, Tbk. In addition to recruitment, this collaboration will also encompass various other programs, including guest lectures and research, and will eventually involve four faculties at UMN.
PT Bank Jago, Tbk is a digital bank established in 2020. It not only provides financial solutions for the Indonesian people, but also focuses on users. More than just a digital bank, PT Bank Jago, Tbk also focuses on sustainable development, one of which is in the education sector.
“One of our goals is to focus on the development of education, which is also stated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are very pleased to be able to move in that direction and contribute to education in Indonesia. The collaboration with UMN is a great opportunity for us,” said Pratomo Soedarsini, Head of People and Culture at PT Bank Jago, Tbk.
Pratomo also stated that this collaboration is essential and relevant to the four faculties at UMN, including engineering and informatics, design, marketing, and finance. In addition, Pratomo emphasized that PT Bank Jago, Tbk implements the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), including community service, research, and teaching.
“I hope this collaboration can run well, not only limited to recruitment collaboration but also exploring various programs that can be done together and have a positive impact on both parties,” he continued.
Elfira F. Wahyono, M.Si., as Manager of the UMN Career Development Center, also emphasized that this collaboration is not limited to recruitment, but also involves PT Bank Jago, Tbk in preparing students’ competencies for the world of work.
“I hope that through this collaboration, more UMN students will be absorbed by PT Bank Jago, Tbk. Furthermore, it is hoped that PT Bank Jago, Tbk will also be involved in various programs at UMN,” said Elfira.
Discussions between PT Bank Jago, Tbk, and each Dean and Head of Study Program also enriched the signing. These discussions emphasized various topics that could be pursued together.
“For me, this collaboration is in line with the learning process at our Faculty of Business, which is very open to recruitment and guest lecturers from industry practitioners. Through this collaboration, we can certainly increase students’ knowledge, not only about working in the industry, but also deeper knowledge,” said Dr. Prio Utomo, S.T, MPC., Dean of the Faculty of Business.
In addition to collaborating with UMN undergraduates, the UMN Master of Technology Management (MMT) program welcomes collaboration. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that PT Bank Jago, Tbk employees can be involved in the existing MMT programs. Prio is also open if PT Bank Jago, Tbk employees wish to join the MMT program. The discussion was continued by Dr. Eng. Niki Prastomo, S.T., M.Sc., Dean of the Faculty of Informatics (FTI) UMN.
“Currently, we are balancing the topics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Sustainability, so detailed explanations are needed for students before they enter the industrial world. For me, this collaboration is quite strategic to see industrial developments and align them with academia,” he explained.
Niki himself also initiated collaboration in the field of research. For him, various topics can serve as case studies, including AI, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and more. Niki hopes this research collaboration will involve not only lecturers but also students. Muhammad Cahya Mulya Daulay, S.Sn., M.Ds., Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design (FSD), also identified several areas of collaboration to pursue together.
“There are many things that can be collaborated on, starting from design and film. We ourselves emphasize that students should not only focus on the aesthetics of the final result but also on policy and their impact, so that we really emphasize sustainable design. In my opinion, this collaboration can enrich FSD’s academic studies,” Cahya explained.
Cahya is open to various collaboration opportunities that can be pursued together, and of course, this collaboration is not limited to aesthetics alone; it is hoped that it can provide benefits that are in line with PT Bank Jago, Tbk.
