Tangerang, (12/11/2025) – The Multimedia Training at Islamic Boarding Schools conducted by the Continuing Education Department (CED) of UMN was successfully held for one month. At the closing ceremony of the Multimedia Training for Islamic Boarding Schools, participants had the opportunity to showcase their works from the training. This opportunity was valuable not only for the participants but also for UMN, which was able to provide multimedia training and make a positive impact.
As a concrete step by UMN in support of sustainability, this implementation was carried out not only internally on campus. UMN continues to launch various impactful collaborative programs, including multimedia training for Islamic boarding school students. This activity aims to equip participants to share the knowledge they have gained with the broader community digitally.
“It is an honor for UMN to be trusted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to continue this program and make a positive impact. Participants have learned everything from the basics of content production and visual branding to design. From this, participants have gained skills that can be channeled into tangible works for the development of their respective Islamic boarding schools,” Dr Andrey Andoko, UMN Rector, said.
According to Andrey, this training can serve as a strong foundation for students’ future. Not only will they be able to produce content individually, but it is also hoped that when the students return, they will be able to share the valuable knowledge they have gained.
“Technology will continue to evolve, and we as humans must also learn as time goes by. What we have learned may become obsolete in the next few years, so I hope that the participants will not only learn and understand during this training but also become lifelong learners, as is the vision of UMN,” Andrey said.

At the end of this activity, participants successfully distributed and exhibited their works, which they had learned to create over the course of a month under UMN lecturers. The works produced were diverse, ranging from posters and social media content planning to videos, podcasts, short films, and more.
This training is expected to have a significant impact on the development of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. It is also hoped that the participants can have a positive impact on digital media and provide good education for the wider community.
