Tangerang – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara recently conducted an industry visit to Paramount Land on (05/07/2025). This industry visit discussed various collaborations ranging from recruitment to academic and non-academic collaborations. The UMN Career Development Centre team and Paramount Land executives attended the visit.
Paramount Land is a business unit of PT Paramount Enterprise International that operates in urban development, real estate, and related fields. To date, Paramount Land continues to grow, providing comfortable and sustainable housing for communities. As one of the industries promoting sustainability, UMN has the opportunity to collaborate with Paramount Land.
“This industry visit is aimed at continuously bringing updates to the industry, as the rapid pace of industrial development requires higher education institutions like ours to keep up with these changes to remain relevant. The industry can also learn about the new developments at UMN,” Elfira F. Wahyono, M.Si, Manager of the UMN Career Development Center, said.
During the industry visit with Paramount Land, Elfira presented various updates at UMN and potential collaborations, including career preparation, student recruitment, sustainability initiatives, public lectures, and other partnerships that can strengthen the long-term relationship between UMN and Paramount Land.
“Currently, our focus is on equipping students with green skills so that upon graduation, they are ready for the industry. We are open to collaborating with Paramount Land or projects that can involve both students and faculty members,” Elfira added.
Syahadatan Beva Agdesur, the People Development Manager at Paramount Land, also emphasized the crucial role of collaboration between universities and industries. It is not only about technical aspects but also about expanding the university’s network with industries, thereby enhancing employability.
“When it comes to sustainability, Paramount Land is highly aware of this issue because we operate in the real estate industry, which has a long-term focus. By prioritizing this issue, we can ensure our presence in the industry, not just as a topic but by implementing it in practice, such as increasing green spaces, waste management, and other initiatives,” Beva said.
Beva is open to various collaborations, such as seminar collaborations, public lectures, project collaborations, and curriculum matching. For Beva, these collaborations enable the industry to equip students with long-term knowledge and prepare them for industry trends.
