UMN is committed to advancing digital and online learning as an integral part of its educational strategy by providing accessible, flexible, and engaging learning opportunities for students. UMN has developed two advanced online learning methods, namely synchronous and asynchronous learning. Through synchronous learning, lecturers and students can conduct courses online via video conferencing from different locations, while asynchronous learning enables students to access lecture materials, interactive videos, quizzes, and assignments through the UMN e-learning platform at elearning.umn.ac.id. The platform also facilitates communication and collaboration between students and lecturers through personal chat and discussion forums, supporting UMN’s commitment to technology-enabled education and expanding learning opportunities beyond the physical classroom.
