Tangerang—On Monday (July 14, 2025), Universitas Multimedia Nusantara officially launched its annual international Student Mobility program. Unlike previous years, UMN invited students from Cambodia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and Indonesia this year. The 2025 Student Mobility program emphasizes sustainability, culture, and cross-border collaboration.
The 2025 Student Mobility Program was attended by 63 students from various UMN partner universities across Asia. The program lasted two weeks and was divided into online and in-person segments. The Student Mobility Program aims to enable students to learn more about cross-cultural experiences and build relationships among students.
“Today marks a new cross-cultural experience for students, and this experience is more than just learning in the classroom. I am delighted and proud that you have joined the Student Mobility 2025 program, as you bring unique and valuable perspectives that will help you grow socially, academically, and culturally,” Dr. Andrey Andoko, UMN’s Rector, said during the opening of Student Mobility 2025.
Andrey also noted that Student Mobility is an excellent opportunity for students, as it not only allows them to study other cultures but also serves as a bridge for collaboration between universities. For Andrey, the Student Mobility program is one way to strengthen sustainable partnerships between universities.
“I hope the students gain new experiences and valuable opportunities; there is much to learn in Indonesia. It is hoped that this Student Mobility program will create unforgettable memories,” Andrey added.
