Dr. Niknik Mediyawati, S.Pd., M.Hum.

Niknik M. Kuntarto was born in Majalengka on May 10. He has been pursuing the field of Indonesian since studying S-1 (UNY), S-2 (UI), and S-3 (UNJ). teaches Indonesian for Communication, Creative Writing, Narrative Storytelling, and Academic Writing in the Journalism Study Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Multimedia Nusantara University. Has been a visiting lecturer at several schools and campuses abroad, such as Melborne University, Australia; Damascus College, Balarat, Australia; Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia; Silla University; Hankuk University for Foreign Studies, Korea; and Keio University, Japan. Since 2015, the author of the novel Saatirah has been trusted as a linguist for Bareskrim and Polda Metro Jaya for regional and national cases.

His persistence in one area of linguistics has led the author of this BIPA teaching material to receive awards several times, such as the 2011 Textbook Incentive Recipient in December 2011 for his book entitled Careful in Language, Thorough in Thinking, from DP2M, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia; the 2018 Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant; the Kedaireka 2022 Matching Fund Program; the 2023 Higher Education Grant for two studies; the recipient of the Award as a Charismatic Speaker at the Ultima Forum with the theme “The Art of Writing,” Ultima Forum, Multimedia Nusantara University; 10 Inspirational Figures of Majalengka Majalengka University and Regional Government of Majalengka Regency in 2015, 10 Inspirational Women in Celebrating Birthdays in a Unique Way selected by Good Housekeeping Magazine in 2015, and most recently she was also selected in the book Top 30 Indonesian Women in 2020.
