Moeljono Widjaja, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. is a lecturer in the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN). He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering in the United States from Wayne State University and The Ohio State University, respectively, and obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Monash University, Australia. His areas of expertise include simulation, modelling, control systems, optimization, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on developing computational methods to support system analysis, decision-making, and optimization.
Moeljono has authored various scientific publications covering topics such as fuzzy systems, intelligent control, optimization, electricity market simulation, data analysis, and system modelling. His research includes the development of a fuzzy classifier for paddy growth stage identification, a context-based fuzzy system for optimization, a MATLAB-based electricity market simulator, a fuzzy model for generator bidding systems in competitive electricity markets, and intelligent control for an inverted pendulum system. Through his research and teaching activities, he continues to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the application of technology in the fields of informatics and systems engineering.
