Edelin Sari Wangsa, S.Ds., M.Sn.

During her undergraduate studies in Visual Communication Design at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), Edelin actively produced short films and other creative works. Several of her films, produced both during and after her time at UMN, were selected and screened at various national and international film festivals, including the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, Festival Film Puskat, and Jakarta Film Week. She later continued her master’s degree at the Postgraduate School of the Jakarta Institute of the Arts (IKJ).

Edelin’s research interests focus on film production, distribution, and paratexts. Several of her publications, including the outputs of her undergraduate and master’s research, have been published in national journals. These articles explore topics such as short film distribution, the cultural context of film trailers, and film festivals. In addition, her community engagement activities range from conducting basic training and conceptual workshops on film to producing content for social media.
