Wirawan Istiono, S.Kom., M.Kom

Wirawan Istiono, S.Kom., M.Kom. is a lecturer in the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN). He earned his Bachelor’s degree from STMIK Buddhi and his Master’s degree in Informatics Engineering from Universitas Budi Luhur. His areas of expertise include game development, database design, web development, and system analysis, with a focus on developing software solutions that support information systems and digital technologies.

Wirawan has authored various scientific publications covering topics such as web application development, the Internet of Things (IoT), information security, and educational game development. His research includes the development of a web-based assessment system using the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database, a smart home bathtub water level detection system using ultrasonic sensors and fuzzy logic, image-based message security through steganography using the Least Significant Bit (LSB) insertion and template matching methods, and the development of educational games for learning basic algorithms using the near isometric projection method. Through his research and teaching activities, he continues to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the application of technology in the field of informatics.
