Tangerang (05/10/2026) – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), together with Bank Indonesia Banten, held a training session for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) operators on packaging and the story behind the product.
This training session is one way UMN and Bank Indonesia Banten are putting their collaboration into practice to support capacity building among MSME operators, particularly by improving product quality and expanding market reach.
The one-day training featured a number of UMN lecturers as speakers: Elissa Dwi Lestari, S.Sos., M.S.M., Ir. Dionysius Wim Prihanto, M.M., Trihadi Pudiawan Erhan, S.E., M.S.E., Ph.D., and Dr. Niknik Mediyawati, M.Hum.

Anggreani, a participant and the owner of Ogut Benteng, which sells shredded chicken floss, said this training was her first experience taking part in an MSME development program.
“I’m so happy to have been given the chance to join the MSME training from Bank Indonesia Banten and UMN. This is my first experience attending a training like this, and I found it very useful,” she said.
She took part in the training to improve her product quality, from packaging to strategies for expanding her market reach and sales.
“One important thing I learned during this program is that, as business owners, we can’t be too quickly satisfied with what we already have. To keep growing a business, we have to do research on what the market needs and then meet that need,” she added.
The training is expected to support the continuity and economic growth of MSME operators, who are a driving force in Indonesia’s economy. Through its collaboration with Bank Indonesia Banten, UMN is contributing by providing knowledge and skills that MSME operators can apply to develop their businesses.
